Vin Yin for beginners offers an introduction to both vinyasa & yin yoga. This class goes into basic anatomy of the fascial & meridian lines that run throughout the entire body. The first half of the class begins by connecting movements with the breath to build heat in the muscles. Then, we go into more passive yin postures which are held up to 5 minutes to begin to release the fascia & stimulate various energetic centers within the body. The result is releasing deeply held chronic tension patterns within the body & mind.
